Means To An End 为一句英文俚语，在哲学上来说，指的是事物的唯一目的是结束，而达到目的的过程则是任何手段。是一种形而上学的表达方式。
A Means To An End是英国摇滚乐队Joy Division的一首歌。而Ashley曾说过洛查博士的外貌是Joy Division的前主唱Ian Curtis而设定的。
